Der Welcome In! Rheine e.V. ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein, der sich seit 2015 für die gesellschaftliche Teilhabe von Menschen mit Flucht- und Migrationshintergrund in Rheine einsetzt. Dies tun wir insbesondere dadurch, dass wir Räume mit ungezwungener und gemütlicher Atmosphäre (Wohnzimmer) schaffen und hier die Möglichkeit bieten, sich zu begegnen, kennenzulernen, auszutauschen und gemeinsame Aktivitäten und Projekte zu planen und durchzuführen.
Der Verein ist offen für Jeden, der sich konstruktiv beteiligen möchte. Wir sind basisdemokratisch organisiert und verfolgen partizipative Ansätze in unserer Projektarbeit. Dabei orientieren wir uns an den Werten Offenheit, Toleranz, Gleichberechtigung und Respekt innerhalb wie außerhalb des Teams.

About us
Welcome In! Rheine e.V. is a non-profit association that has been advocating for the social participation of people with refugee and migration backgrounds in Rheine since 2015. We do this primarily by creating spaces with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere („living room spaces“), where people can meet, get to know each other, exchange ideas, and plan and carry out joint activities and projects.
Our association is open to anyone who wishes to contribute constructively. We are organized democratically and follow participatory approaches in our project work. Our guiding values are openness, tolerance, equality, and respect—both within our team and in our interactions with others.
